Loved this cute spot for a coffee even had boba! Beautiful coffee shop in West Detroit. Such a nice vibe, super warm and very clean cafe. Best chicken salad in town!

Both Brew-to-ful coffee houses are beautiful spaces to just be. Good food, light and filling. No rushing in this space. Come to stay a minute. Get plugged into the vibe of “you’re welcome” here. I experiment with new drinks and blends from peach smoothies to sweeten oat milk and Carmel in my hot chocolate and my chai teas made to order. You have to visit both locations McNichols & Plymouth. If Brenda is there make sure to tell her “Heather Hetheru said hello” and that you saw my review. The space reflects her warmth, her care and her lovely smile!

I stopped in one day this week to try out this gem in the city and my experience really exceeded my expectations. I had the Butter pecan oatmilk latte and it tasted so much better than my daily shaken espresso from the big name coffee spot I frequent! Service was also top tier and the menu items were reasonably priced. The young ladies were very polite and professional. The space was beautiful & very clean. I ate my turkey sausage, lettuce, tomato & cheese crossaint before I thought about taking a pic but 10/10 highly recommend!!! Go check them out y’all! I will definitely be back!

Today I had the pleasure of going to a black owned, woman owned business called Detroit Brew-ti-ful Coffee House located on Plymouth Rd in Detroit. The location is really nice and clean inside and the staff was so friendly and helpful with the different items they offer. I decided on a blue-raspberry lemonade refresher and a caramel frappe. Both were delicious. They have a new location that just opened on 6 Mile as well, so you guys please go check them out!! This is my new spot!!

I was in Detroit for a few days and I’m a coffee lover, so I researched a few coffee shops I wanted to try that were also Black owned. I decided to stop here and ordered the caramel toffee latte. It was amazing! I really loved that flavor combination. The coffee house was super clean and felt like a comfortable space for one person or a small group. They had a chess table set up and ready for anyone who wanted to play, which I thought was a really nice touch. The bathroom was cute and well kept as well. The only thing I noticed was I didn’t feel the same energy from the employees that I’ve seen in their social media posts, but overall my visit was a winner. I will definitely come back when I’m in town. ☕
